Take The 90s Sitcom Quiz!

What would we do without sitcoms?

They bring joy to millions around the world and highlight everyday social situations in a humorous and exaggerated manner, which is why we can all both relate to them and find them hilarious.

While they actually started life on the radio, they’ve been on television since the 1940s – and there have been literally hundreds that have made us laugh since then.

There’s a lot of debate over which decade was the greatest one for sitcoms, but the 1990s is definitely right up there with the best of them.

The last decade of the twentieth century spawned a huge variety of them, from shows like The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Friends, Frasier, Will & Grace, Dinosaurs, Home Improvement, Harry and the Hendersons, Grace Under Fire, 3rd Rock from the Sun and That ’70s Show, to teen sitcoms like Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper, Kenan & Kel, Clarissa Explains It All, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Hang Time, Boy Meets World and Clueless – and, of course, there were many more as well.

Even if you’re the most devoted sitcom fan whose specialist subject is also the 1990s, you’d be hard-pressed to know everything about them all… wouldn’t you?

Let’s find out, as you take the 90s sitcom quiz!
