A 21-year-old girl, Dru Presta born in Reno with a form of dwarfism also known as achondroplasia is all set to change the prevalent fashion standards. Just 3ft 4 in tall; she is inspiring people all around the world with her confidence and is all set to shatter stereotypes to pieces.
Dru faced challenges right since her school when kids used to bully her but that did not stop her from following her dreams. Being the only person in her family with dwarfism, no one really understood her problem. In spite of everything, she grew strong with every hurdle she faced. She later moved from Reno, her hometown to LA and started modeling.
“I want everybody in the fashion world just to be accepted. I want anybody to be able to walk that runway just like anybody else – whether you see them rolling down the runway in your wheelchair or on crutches,” she says.
