Bakhretdin Khakimov
During the Russian-Afghan war in the 1980s, Bakhretdin Khakimov was hurt and locals tended to his wounds. After he recovered, he decided to stay in the village. He changed his name to Sheikh Abdullah and even married a local. Eventually, a veteran organization found the 53-year-old former soldier in Heart, who stayed busy practicing herbal medicine.
