He said, “I have no fear of losing my life – if I have to save a koala or a crocodile or a kangaroo or a snake, mate, I will save it.” He died when a stingray pierced his heart with a barbed tail in a freak attack. Even during his last few minutes, he was filming and it left the world in a shock.
